SSM Terms and Conditions

By entering into this contract, the customer warrants that they are at least 18 years of age and legally capable under the Commonwealth of Virginia
By entering into this agreement with SSM VIP TRANSPORTATION, LLC, the customer, who may be the passenger, credit card holder, or person ordering, agrees to its terms and conditions. This agreement is valid for all reservations and dates listed below and supersedes all other agreements or understanding either verbal or in writing.

RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, SOME RESTRICTIONS APPLY.

1) STC (STANDARD TRANSPORTATION CHARGES) AND FUEL CHARGES WILL BE ADDED TO EACH RESERVATION

The Standard Transportation Charge (STC) for a luxury sedan with a capacity of up to 3 passengers is 10% of the base fare. For a luxury SUV with a capacity of 4-6 passengers, the STC is also 10% of the base fare.

The fuel charge for a luxury sedan with a capacity of up to 3 passengers is 5% of the base fare. For a luxury SUV with a capacity of 4-6 passengers, the fuel charge is also 5% of the base fare.

2) STATE TAXES AND REGULATORY FEES 

Charged where applicable by law. The amount of these fees varies depending on the state.

3) TOLLS AND PARKING 

Not included in the booking fare for travel inside/outside of DC, MD, or VA and if applicable, will be added after completing the trip.

4) EARLY/LATE FEE

A $15.00 fee applies to trips beginning between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. EST.

5) AIRPORT FEES (WASHINGTON DC AIRPORTS ONLY DCA & IAD) A $5.00 charge applies to sedans and SUVs for curbside drop-off/pick-up Fees for IAD and DCA

6) MEET AND GREET 

Airports Meet and Greet – $15 additional fee for sedans, SUVs, and vans

7) ADDITIONAL STOP CHARGE FOR TRANSFERS 

If an additional stop exceeds 15 minutes, $25.00 will be added and charged to the customer’s account 

8) HOURLY RATES 

Applies if more than one stop is made during a transfer off the direct route (applies to sedans and SUVs)

9) COMPLIMENTARY WAITING TIME

We offer a 15-minute grace period on all address pickups.
After the initial 15 minutes expires, for every interval of 15 minutes an additional $15 will be charged up to forty-five (45) minutes. After 45 minutes, if the customer is unreachable, SSM VIP Transportation, LLC has the right to charge the customer’s account/credit card on file the full price of the trip as a no-show.

Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 1:16 pm
additional charges: $15
Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 1:30 pm
additional charges: $15
Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 1:31 pm
additional charges: $30
Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 1:46 pm
additional charges: $45
NO SHOW – client account will be charged full price

10) AIRPORT COMPLIMENTARY WAITING TIME

Domestic Flights:

We offer a 30-minute grace period on all domestic flight pick-ups. After the initial 30 minutes expire, for every interval of 15 minutes an additional $15 will be charged.

International Flights:

We offer a 60-minute grace period on all international flight pick-ups
After the initial 60 minutes expire, for every interval of 30 minutes an additional $30 will be charged.

Example:

Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 2:01 pm
additional charges: $30
Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 2:30 pm
additional charges: $30
Scheduled Pick up time: 1:00 pm
Actual pick-up time: 2:31 pm
additional charges: $60

11) HOURLY BOOKING

Base pricing of $75 for a luxury sedan and $95 for a luxury SUV (prices vary by the duration of the trip)
Not including parking and tolls associated with travel 
Additional toll costs may be applicable for travel outside of DC, MD, and VA.
The rates decrease based on the total booking hours and the maximum 30-mile radius traveling from the pickup location.
Luxury Sedan: Any booking trip exceeding a 30-mile radius from the pickup location will be charged $115 an hour 
Luxury SUV: Any booking trip exceeding a 30-mile radius from the pickup location will be charged $130 an hour 
Sedan: From 0 hours to 4 hours, the hourly rate is $95 (maximum 30 miles radius); for 4 hours to 6 hours (maximum 30 miles radius) the hourly rate is $85; and for 6 hours and above the hourly rate is $75 (maximum 30 miles radius).
SUV: For 0 hours to 4 hours, the hourly rate is $115 (maximum 30-mile radius); for 4 hours to 6 hours, the hourly rate is $105 (maximum 30 miles radius); and for 6 hours and above, the hourly rate is $95 (maximum 30 miles radius).

12) CLEANING FEES 

A minimum fee of $300 for each interior burn/damage/spill caused by a client (passenger on board) for extra cleaning services will be charged to the client’s credit card

13) GUIDELINES & PRINCIPLES

All our vehicles are smoke-free (smoking is not allowed).
Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed in all our vehicles including wine tours and the purchase of the alcoholic beverage at the winery.
We reserve all the right to deny service if a client shows drunkenness, intoxication, or misconduct.
SSM and its members including drivers are not responsible for lost items.

14) CANCELLATION/DEPOSIT POLICY

We mandate and collect a 30% deposit when booking a trip, otherwise, the trip is not considered reserved.
The deposits are fully refundable up to 48 hours before the starting time of the trip
The deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the start time of the trip 
We require twenty-four (24) hours before canceling any trip. A trip will be 100% chargeable if it is canceled in less than twenty-four (24) hours of the starting time of the trip. 
Our service is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for any damages that may arise from its use, including attorney’s fees and lost income or funds.
We do not assume liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever resulting from the use of our service or any contract assessed through our office.

15) PAYMENT AND INVOICING POLICY

1. Payment Due Date

  • All invoices are due no later than 30 days from the invoice date.
  • For example, if the invoice date is February 1st, payment is due by February 29th Any unpaid invoice are subject to a late fees.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

  • We accept the following payment methods:
  •  Cash
  •  Check
  •  Credit card
  •  Debit card

3. Late Fees

  • After the initial 14 days, SSM VIP TRANSPORTATION will send out reminders. It’s crucial for a client to pay the balance during this time to avoid further penalties
  • Please ensure timely payment to avoid any additional charges:

30 Days:

◦ A 25% of the actual balance will be added if not paid after 30 days

60 Days:

◦ If the invoice remains unpaid after 60 days, additional actions will be taken and another 50% will be added to the unpaid bill.

90 Days

◦ After 90 days passed and SSM VIP TRANSPORTATION still hasn’t received payment, your invoice will be sent to a collection agency within 90 to 120 days as well as a legal action will be taken against you (the client) and any fees incurred for initiating collection will be added to the invoice as well.

5. Invoice Policies

  • Cancellations: Notify us promptly if you need to cancel an invoice.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy.
  • Adjustments: Any adjustments to invoices will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. Personal Information includes your email address, name, phone number, which you submit to us through the registration process at the Site.

Personal Information:
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as the servers for our email communications who are provided access to user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. When we send a promotional communication to a user via EMAIL OR SMS, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out in the Settings section of the Site, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.
